Mr. Zoratto has built and managed business in the infrastructure, energy and environmental fields for over 25 years. He has completed numerous projects worldwide in environmental remediation, heavy civil construction, power and industrial plant construction, facilities operations and maintenance. His international experience includes operating in the Middle East and North Africa, Europe, Asia, Caribbean, Canada, Central America and the South Pacific. As the President and COO of IEP, Mr. Zoratto develops energy and infrastructure projects in challenging environments both within the United States and internationally.

A native of Canada, Mr. Zoratto began his career as a project engineer on a hydroelectric project in the Canadian Arctic with Peter Kiewit and Sons, a large US-based construction firm.

After moving to the United States, he joined D’Appolonia Consulting Engineers, a world-class geotechnical consultancy, where he served as Project Manager on design-build projects. D’Appolonia was acquired by The IT Group, a $1.4 Million global environmental and infrastructure company, where over the next 20 years he held leadership positions in engineering, construction and program management.

Over the next 20 years with the the IT Group (later acquired by The Shaw Group), he served as President of Government Services, an $800 Million division of the company which he created and managed. Under his leadership, the business generated earnings of $60 Million annually and a contract backlog in excess of $4.0 Billion. The IT Group pursued business in the Environmental Management, Facilities Management, Design and Construction and Infrastructure Privatization sectors.

Mr. Zoratto established and served as President of GENCO Infrastructure Solutions (GIS), a $1.2 Million privately held company with a predominantly commercial client base. Clients included DOD agencies and large defense integrators in the aerospace sector.

Mr. Zoratto then joined dck worldwide (formally Dick Corporation, a $1.4 Million design-build construction company) as President of the International Division and Chief Strategic Officer for the corporation. He established dck Global Development to participate in the Enhanced Use Leasing market with the DOD, and led the expansion of the company into the Middle East, North Africa and Pacific. Today, Mr. Zoratto is President and Chief Operating Officer of IEP

Mr. Zoratto holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto and is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, Piano Program. He is a registered Professional Engineer and is fluent in English, French and Italian.
